The Gibraltar Botanic Gardens firmly believe that it is important for children to be given the opportunity to enjoy themselves outdoors. We encourage children of all ages to discover the wonders and beauty of the natural world and offer opportunities for them to learn about the environment and how best to care for it.
We do so primarily through the gardening clubs and organised activities that are run at the Alameda throughout the year. We also host school visits and assist schools in landscaping and gardening, as part of our outreach programme.
